Brethren, once again I welcome you to the month of overflowing blessings. Your blessings will not only flow this month but they will surely overflow. As a child of God, you are destined for greatness and you will reach that destiny in Jesus name, Amen!

By the special grace of God we begin a series of reviews of the book, “Money is a Defense”. Ecclesiastes 7:12 says, “ For wisdom is a defense even as money is a defense, but the excellency of knowledge is that wisdom shields and preserves the life of him who has it. [AMP]” Money is very critical to everyday living. It is essential to meeting our needs and the needs of our family. There is very little that a man can achieve in this world without one mighty element: MONEY! The passage above lets us know that wisdom is a defense even as money is also a defense. Having money is one thing, knowing how to maximize the earning potential of that money is another thing entirely. This is what God wants you to know today. There are weak defenses and there are strong defenses. Having money and applying wisdom on how to spend the money leads to a strong defense.

You need money to maintain, support and defend yourself in life and even in godliness. The love of money is the root of all evil; but do you know that the lack of it is the father of all tragedies. Tragedy will not be your portion in Jesus name, Amen.It does not take much in life for a man or woman to succeed. All you need is the right mental attitude, the right information and the backing of the Holy Spirit. You must have a desire to excel in spite of all opposition. The world is full of opposition. If one succeeds without any opposition, it becomes difficult to appreciate that success. The essential things you need to excel are Christian characteristics such as: integrity, love, honesty, loyalty and a good work ethic.

Today, we will review two chapters: Money Answers all things and A change of mindset.Money answers all things: Ecclesiastes 10:19 says, “A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.” Without money, you feel like you are at war with something that cannot be touched but only felt. Once the money is made available the feeling goes away and life seems normal again.  A change in mindset: Isaiah 1: 19 says, “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” As a rightful child of God, you must be willing to acquire wealth; achieve success; and excel in all that you do. This is because God has destined you for greatness and you will reach that height in Jesus name, Amen. God bless you.
